Karthik Bala
Mr. Bala is the founder of KB-Vis Technologies, and the author of the KB-Vol3D medical visualisation software. Mr. Bala has ten years of experience in Visualisation and Graphics software development. He had earlier worked on several visualisation and imaging products released in USA, Europe, and India, including FastVol-3D from Manmar Technologies (India), IDL from Research Systems (USA), VIRASAT surgical trainer from CAS-Tech (India), and Amicas Inc. (USA).
Mr. Bala earned his M.S. degree in Computer Science from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, USA, and his B.E. (Hons.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani, India.
Charulatta Mani
Ms. Mani has a background in Mechanical Engineering, with software development and testing experise. Ms. Mani has contributed to development of 3D modules for KB-Vol3D and 3D modules for CAD, simulation, and other engineering applications. She also oversees quality assurance for all deliverables.
Ms. Mani earned her B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Madras, India, and underwent software development training from NIIT, Madras, India.
